Hi. My name is Michelle. I have lived most of my life in Washington State before moving to Utah, where it is hard to locate good beer and coffee. Going on thirty years, I have experienced many of the music trends come and go and come again. Growing up I listened to Latin American, Classical and Country music. But when I hit high school, MTV's 120 minutes changed my life. From there, I liked bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and anything west of the Cascade Mountains.
After college I interned at an alt rock radio station in Seattle, WA. Meeting rock stars was an occasional high, but most of the time I hit the pavement with other interns on the street team. In addition, I was known as the "drunken intern" on Marco Collin's nightly radio show. But now, I am rarely drunk as the beer is watered down in Utah.
My favorite band of 2003 was Ima Robot. This past year, I added Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, Jem, and Snow Patrol to my record collection. When I am not listening to music, you can find me reading Sophie Kinsella's novels, at the gym, or just hanging out at home with my husband.
