Aaron has 8 years experience in, around or near the music
industry.
After spending junior and high school messing around with a
garage rap trio and drum machine driven grunge bands,
Aaron dove deep into college radio at KUGS 89.3 at WWU,
during his brief stint as a "college student." After two years
as the daily host of a groove, jazz and electronic "Morning
Show," he spent a year as Specialty Music Coordinator for
the same station.
From there Aaron did a little of everything. He started a
concert series in Bellingham, WA (Burn Down the World),
had the police called to an outdoor installation art exhibit,
dropped out of college, founded a record label (Theory
Records), released material from some great bands
(Wonderful, Dolour + more), put on many all-ages shows in
the Puget Sound area, played bass with some friends,
learned to play drums (from Jason McGerr), bought and ran
a t-shirt printing shop, interned at LooseGroove Records,
started a Web development company and sold it
(theoryweb.com), started a new Web development company
(graphicaldata.com), partnered up with a friend to grow a
music Web site (electronicmusic.com), teamed up with a
video production company (walkthroughmovies.com) and
watched his former roommates play on national television
last week (Death Cab for Cutie).
All said, Aaron brings a diverse history to NowOnTour and
figures this is the obvious, logical next step in life.
