Matthew Nanes Writer E-mail Hello, I'm Matthew Nanes and I live in Clearfield, Utah. I'm 19 years old and my favorite band of all-time is the Smashing Pumpkins. Other than that, I enjoy indie, hardcore, alt-country among many other genres of music. My recent favorites are Owen, Jimmy Eat World, mewithoutYou, Underoath and Hot Water Music. I've spent time on the road for a year, so I know what bands that send in their music are going through so I try to be just and fair when it comes to reviewing. Also, I try to describe the music rather than judge a band on their image or anything else. Lately, I'm jamming with bands, working at Barnes and Noble and will be going to school at Weber State University.
