Too Pure To Die Kicks Off Headlining Tour
11/12/2007

By: Patrick Steven Patterson
Trustkill Records' latest signing, the Des Moines-based Too Pure To Die launched a full US
headlining tour this past weekend with Beneath The Sky (Victory),
Whitechapel (Metal Blade) and Impending Doom (Facedown) opening.
This tour will put Too Pure To Die on the road with several noted death metal bands, and the
diversity is a positive challenge, tells guitarist Jordan Peterson, "These bands are all on fire
and we are looking forward to the diverse and enthusiastic audience."
The band just finished up a September-October tour with All that Remains, The Acacia Strain
and Protest The Hero, which was successful, tells Peterson, as "We got a lot of new fans from
this tour, all the metal kids that we were worried about totally loved us, and we had the
crowd captivated. We could see the boost in our fan base by MySpace plays alone." These two
tours are very contrasting in scope and audience, but that's what the band likes, tells
Peterson, "Whether we are playing big venues with All that Remains or smaller places like
VFW halls, it doesn't matter, we just love playing."
Too Pure To Die will be on the road when their Trustkill debut Confidence and
Consequence will be released on November 20.
