Sara Melson Signs With Nettwerk

LA-based singer/songwriter Sara Melson has signed with Nettwerk Music Group to release
the self-produced Dirty Mind on February 26, 2008. A dynamic live performer,
Sara has shared the stage with BRMC, Juliana Hatfield, Ben Lee, Jill Sobule, Ian Ball, Marjorie
Faire and Mojave 3. She will tour in support of Dirty Mind early next year.
"Sara's voice and melodies are haunting, the lyrics raw and bare," says Nettwerk CEO Terry
McBride. "It's an infectious combination that keeps her songs swirling in your head for weeks
on end."
Dirty Mind developed slowly over time, "guerilla-style," as Sara puts it, while
she sustained herself as a yoga instructor and children's music teacher. The full-length
album is the follow up to Sara's 2003 self-release, Five Song EP, which she
produced at home and in the studios of friends.
