The Limit combines the sound of both grunge and 80's big hair band rock on their self-tilted debut album. The Limit is a trio: lead guitarist and vocalist Mark Daniel (who is endowed with the wild and untamed mane), bassist Todd Grosberg and drummer Bob Chmiel. They're quick on the draw and their weapon is rock. They let nothing stand in their way as they pull the trigger releasing a heart thumping and mind racing alternative music. The Limit is all about having a great time; I mean, come on...their tour sponsor is Jagermeister.
The Limit will defy the music industry by becoming a recognizable band in a society full of bubble gum princess and cross-country rock wannabes. The Limit expresses the band's gritty lifestyle, one filled with a gargantuan sense of self-determination. "Real" conveys the story of a man whose selfless act of freedom is an attempt to "be real" when facing a seductive woman. The Limit are climbing to the top of their game, and this is accurately portrayed in their track "Mountain," which describes a man desperately clinging on to the mountain as he faces the sea below.
And in this bands' case, the sea represents their listening audience.
I listen to music all the time, it's like my religion. Nonetheless, I won't let one genre control my life, making me jaded. The Limit is my new Pearl Jam, Rage and Korn all rolled into one tight knit ball of combustible sound. The self-titled LP is in most stores and the band is heavily touring at this present time. So, make an effort to hear the Limit, because they're the new sound of alternative music. |
