What do you say about a record that has the first nine cuts clocking in at a whopping nine minutes and 31 seconds? Especially if they're the most annoying nine and some minutes you've spent in a long time. This punk band hails from Kentucky but sound more like something from a New York dark alley.

Every cut sounds the same, fast and ragged. After a 28 second intro that sounds like a garage band tuning up, they rip into "The Great White Light." Eschewing subtleties for adrenaline, this begins a set that blends almost seamlessly together. Screaming, almost unintelligible vocals over ripping guitars are the credo here.

Adding to my pain, the last cut is just strange. The first minute and 36 seconds is silence and then a maelstrom of wailing ensues. This proceeds until the 12-minute mark, and I think this is actually the album recorded backwards. The track ends with another seven minutes of silence.

The best I can say about this record is it has a lot of energy. Actually, there's another good thing...it ended quickly.
