Straight from the Jersey shore to the Mason-Dixon line, Joe
Pagetta, guitarist and singer-songwriter, recently released
Joywood, a collection of soulful rock, folk and
Americana driven lyrics which are cleverly twisted into a
compilation of thirteen tracks.
Pagetta's songwriting is a simplistic metaphor of a person
who's moved from the easygoing Jersey folk scene to
Nashville's country lifestyle. Joywood is a
sought-after collection comprised of tender piano ballads
("Lift You Up"), southern rocker anthems ("I'll Be Right
Back") and folk/roots vibes ("Talking One Thing").
Joywood was produced by George Marinelli Jr.,
former member sideman of legendary blues performer
Bonnie Raitt and original member of Bruce Hornsby and the
Range. The album features Nashville's renowned musicians:
"Bette Davis Eyes" idol Kim Carnes, Sheryl Crow's sister
Kathy Crow ("Break Down") and many more.
Joywood is a desirable album that will
