Fall Out Boy's major label debut, From Under The Cork
Tree, released by Island Records is full of solid rock
personality. It has the potential of being even more amazing
live than any Fall Out Boy performance you've seen before.
This could be more than just two-step moshing and a swaying
crowd with lighters in hand. This is the kind of album to make
that live crowd seem like family!
At first, you might consider this album a joke coming through
your radio with song titles such as, "I Slept With Someone In
Fall Out Boy And All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About
Me." Combine the seemingly jackass titles with the solid rock
and familiar harmonies, and you'll soon be laughing with the
crowd and wearing the T-shirt.
This album features some familiar guest vocalists such as
Fueled by Ramen favorite, The Academy Is
You'll find
yourself chanting with the brilliant lyrics, "I swear I'd burn the
city down to show you the light." Soon they will be found
tattooed on the bodies of only the boldest Fall Out Boy fans. A
perfect record for those rockin' summer months, don't let your
friend's ringtone be the first time you hear this album. |
