Hardcore music has become known as an outlet for people to express what they believe. Spreading the word and having some place where one could belong is what hardcore is all about. With Or Without You takes that to a brand new level. With acts of today such as Champion, Comeback Kid and Casey Jones, With Or Without You could not have chosen a better time to release their debut album.
This raw and aggressive band covers what you would expect from an old school hardcore band and then some. With Or Without You produces the most aggressive guitar playing along with some red-blooded vocals. Traditional chants accompany the merciless assault of parading guitars and harmonics. It sets you up for the excitement about to come. A strong begging and ending is what a lot of bands today fail to accomplish, but With Or Without You doesn't lack in these fields. With their opening song, "Ill-Tro/Check Your Head," they set up the rest of the album. "The Song That Made the World Hate Me" ends the album perfectly. No wonder With Or Without You has become such a fan favorite out on the west coast. |
