If you're looking for a tasty sampler of new music with a
side of something both old and refreshing - The Best
Of Taste Of Chaos is the perfect collection of songs to
scare the neighbors with. With your windows down and that
summer-time fresh air, be sure to crank it up loud!
The Best Of Taste Of Chaos is a complete
two-disc set that includes tracks from The Used, Underoath,
Story Of The Year, Thrice, Deftones, Matchbook Romance,
Thursday, Emery and The Bled. The compilation has done
well covering the radio-friendly, all the way to the hardest of
hardcore. Assuming its purpose was to introduce new
listeners, the song choices were obviously thought-out and
well done.
What you need to know is that for someone who is being
introduced to these bands, this is an ideal mix. However, if
you are already a fan of everyone on this disc and can
practically make your own Taste Of Chaos mix, you'll find no
need for 2 full CDs. The compilation could be more refined
and, in so doing, perfected. |
