Funny thing about Gina Kaz's opening track: For a piece entitled "Conversation," the actual lyrics don't quite manage to earn the "unforgettable" tag. Not that they're juvenile or empty or even bland: it's because, in this, the listeners' taste test of Ms. Kaz's varied and delectable talents, the vocals are so stunning, so other-worldly, that the actual lyrical content is subconsciously relegated to a back seat. Not to worry. It only takes a moment (one track's length to be exact) to fully and truly absorb both the captivating words and mystical music of the balance of this CD.

The prayer-like "Water and Wine" could and should be used to boost the bottom-line of most congregations: i.e. more bums in pews - even the staunchest Atheists couldn't resist this pure and borderline celestial offering. It's fitting then that this piece celebrates the ultimate Triumvirate: words, music and piano accompaniment courtesy the angelic-voiced Gina. Which isn't to say she's a control freak with a god complex. While all cuts here are either written solely or collaboratively by Gina, they showcase enough musical, vocal and lyrical diversity to maintain the listener's interest. Perhaps more importantly for any newcomer, such a confident musical range cements the listener's admiration.

Wispy and fragile as, well, a dragonfly's wings, Gina's vocals and piano playing in "Dragonfly," are wistful enough to become a lover's swan song, charming enough to become a timeless children's' lullaby. Sweet without being cloying, addictive without being bombastic, Gina's a talent worth encouraging, following, supporting. The pressing question here isn't will she make it? But rather, why hasn't she made it yet? Which begs yet another question:

In need of some quiet reassurance that life, despite the headlines and CNN's 24/7 gloom and doom or that even your personal strife may well be (as your mama keeps telling you) temporary? For You will more than fit the bill...for you.
