From Atlanta, Georgia, this band was nothing but Southern
comfort to me.
I absolutely loved their sound. I was expecting an endless,
screaming, typical hardcore show that may or may not get
on my nerves depending on the performance level and
crowd response, but I was more than pleased with Fight
Paris. These boys are full of movement and
attitude.
Their music is definitely hardcore-sounding and
hardcore-feeling, yet atypical. It presses you and peruses
you until you find yourself not just in a typical hardcore
stance, at the side of the pit with a slight movement of the
head and tap of the foot but a total rock out, arm swinging
goodness. Everyone moved.
It's no wonder these boys are slightly cocky (and have
every right to be), the teenage girls swooned at the idea of
something new. These Utah girls don't know what it's like to
be charmed by Southern boys, but you can tell they're dying
to find out.
Fight Paris is currently touring with Scarlet, The Calico
System and The Esoteric. If they're coming to a town near
you, I encourage you to take part, and if this is a show you
missed out on just you wait; the next time Fight Paris comes
around they will be in bigger, better venues and undeniably
more popular.
